To all photographers out there , who always go to Quiapo to buy gadgets, beware...I was walking along Hidalgo st in quiapo, when suddenly two kids approached me , begging to buy their plastic bags.. They were too close. After a while they just vanished, running away from me. So i ignore them. But its too late to know that my cellphone was missing on my belt pouch. Ouchh!! Remembering the kids, i told myself, 'naisahan ako, s**t!'So what i did? I went to the nearest Police station, told them what happened, they showed pictures of bad little boys on the block and walla!! Batman and Robin!! The good cops did not waist time and head to the known hide-out of this dynamic duo..but they're nowhere to be found..So i went home accepting and letting go of what happened, thinking its my fault, not the kids , since they're just following instructions from their guardians ( guardian devils )...After an hour i received a call from station 3 , telling me they have the kid and my cellphone..Whatta.. batman and robin was caught???Amazing... But when i got there, only robin was caught..
The cops told me that robin sold the phone to a certain man already and located the buyer, but the man panics , let go of the phone and run.. Whew..the cellphone and sim was still intact.. Good cops are still out there, doing their job.. thanks to the leadership of Capt Rodolfo Samoronos..I salute you!.. BTW, the 7-year old Robin will be turned over to DSWD if his guardians failed to show-up..
Just bought an Ipod Nano primarily for audio capturing on my events coverage, but i'm quite amazed by it's video capture capability, I could use this in some of my media works. Here's my interview with my anchor ' Ginelle Anne' using the Ipod itself as cam and audio recorder. Explaining whats new with the 5G version: Ipod sound...camera...rolling...ACTION!
Look what i'd just recall from my old cdbox, an old video file of a kiddie party with Power Puff girls motif. I think it's way back 2001. I did the shoot and edit.

With just one week preparation, I was able to successfully finished this AVP with the help of my lovidavi camera , the Nikon D90..I'm a big fan of this camera for both photo and video capability. Shooting Mode: With Sony FX1, i was very confident that the D90 will do a great job in taking videos for this AVP. With the lack of a glidecam , i've come to this idea of creating a homemade glidecam with my newly purchased Lightweight Benro Tripod ( Even my 3 year old child can cary this tripod with one hand ).. I mounted the camera to the head, then tried shooting in inverted mode.. Camera in upside down position..see the pic below.
Wow, much to my suprise it's a total balance.. Of course with the Sigma 10-20mm lens set at 10mm and infinite focus..
